PROGRAM DESCRIPTION: The Wellness Program will be overseen by the newly established Statewide Engagement Program designed to enhance the state’s ability to holistically support the state’s workforce by providing direction, training, and guidance to state departments.

The mission of the state Employee Wellness Program is to promote a work environment that encourages healthy lifestyle choices, decreases the risk of illness and disease, and enhances employee effectiveness and well-being. We encourage you to stay informed about health issues that affect you. Take steps to maintain or improve your health and use the resources on this website to help make your life a long and healthy one.

Healthier U Connections

The California Department of Human Resources (CalHR) is excited to announce Healthier U Connections- an innovative, online wellness service that allows state active employees to continually track health behaviors and access wellness resources, such as healthy recipes, exercise videos, and much more. Watch this short video to learn about key features of this wellness platform. Invest in your well-being and sign up for this free wellness platform today!
