MetLife Pet Insurance is a voluntary benefit that offers customizable plans to help protect your furry friends from unexpected veterinary expenses, including coverage for accidents, illnesses and routine care. Allowing you to choose the plan that best fits your pet’s needs.
Eligible employees can enroll in or modify their pet insurance coverage at any time, not just during Open Enrollment.

Enrollment
You can enroll your pet in pet insurance in three simple steps. Visit (enter pet insurance website) and:
- Provide your zip code
- Describe your pet including species, gender, age and breed.
- Choose your plan option. Options include annual limit, deductible, reimbursement, preventive care coverage for cats and dogs (optional).
Please note that Pet Insurance premiums do not have an option for automatic payroll deductions and are billed directly to the employee. You can set up payment options via credit card or automatic bank withdrawal directly with MetLife.
