How To Use the Monthly Live Well Benefits Kit

What is the monthly Live Well Benefits Kit: The monthly Live Well Benefits Kit is a copy and paste ready employee email that encourages employees to use their benefits all year. Each month will include benefits content, resources, helpful reminders and tips. The kit will also include a single CTA link to a webpage with detailed content, resources, and links. 

When to send: First week of each month. You will receive the kit about six weeks prior to send date. 

How to send:

  1. Open a new outlook email; set format to HTML.
  2. Paste the employee block. When pasting click “keep source formatting”. Add a short intro paragraph to the email if desired.
  3. Keep the subject line as provided. 
  4. Send to all employees or your standard distribution list. 

Personalization ideas: Below are some ideas to make your Benefits Newsletter personalized to your employees. 

  • Add clinic flu shot dates
  • Add upcoming wellness events
  • Add a one-line reminder of your location 

Where the CTA link goes to:It will be posted on the monthly Benefits page on the CalHR Benefits site. Each month’s page will include detailed content from the employee message, along with resources and links. The page will be updated regularly with new benefits content.
